For 85 years, the League of Women Voters of the San Antonio Area (LWVSA) has dedicated itself to empowering voters and defending democracy. Today, the mission continues and we are inviting you to join in 85 Days of Action.

How You Can Participate in 85 Days of Action

Oct 31: LAST Day of Early Voting. Cast your vote today!
Nov 1: Prepare to VOTE! Watch LWVSA’s KLRN Special: Bexar County Votes 2025 to learn about the County propositions on the November ballot.
Nov 2: Prepare to VOTE! Read the Voters Guide to learn about the 17 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution and the County propositions.
Nov 3: Prepare to VOTE! Find a Voting Center near you and gather your photo ID. Learn more about preparing to vote here.
Nov 4: VOTE! Post your photo using LWVSA’s “I Voted” selfie frame and #LWVSA.
Nov 5: Volunteer with LWVSA to share information about voting rights. Check out the November calendar of events.
Nov 6: Sign up for the LWVSA newsletter to get the latest news and learn how you can get involved.
Nov 7: Examine historical Supreme Court decisions related to the 15th Amendment to better understand current threats to voting rights.
Nov 8: Follow LWVSA on Instagram and Facebook. Like and share posts to spread the word.
Nov 9: Learn about the SAVE Act and the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2025.
Nov 10: Fight voter suppression. Tell your Senator you oppose the SAVE Act and they should too.
Nov 11: Ask a friend to join you on Nov. 18 at the LWVSA Speaker Series with Sukrit Goswami, Director of SA Public Libraries, to learn about public libraries' role in society.
Nov 12: Get inspired by the stories of the suffragists and the past leaders of LWVSA.
Nov 13: Speak up! Learn who represents you and send them an email about the issues that matter most to you.
Nov 14: Donate $85 in celebration of LWVSA’s 85th anniversary and to increase the impact of the 85 days of action.
Nov 15: Get involved! Sign up for a LWVSA committee.
Nov 16: Look for LWVSA at Girls Inc.’s Girls on the Run 5k at Mission County Park.
Nov 17: Encourage young voters! Join LWVSA’s Youth Outreach Committee.
Nov 18: Learn about the role of public libraries in our society at the LWVSA Speaker Series with Sukrit Goswami, Director of SA Public Libraries.
Nov 19: Stop by the CPS Community Fair to talk to a LWVSA volunteer, Second Baptist Church, 3310 E. Commerce, 4pm–7pm.
Nov 20: Join LWVSA — together our voice is stronger. Dues from $20 annually.
Nov 21: Tell your members of Congress to protect the freedom to vote and support the passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
Nov 22: Follow LWVSA on Instagram and Facebook. Like and share posts to spread the word.
Nov 23: Monitor proposed changes to voting laws and speak out against those that restrict access.
Nov 24: Learn about the impact LWVSA has in our community and how you can help.
