Youth Initiative Goals

To promote higher levels of voter turnout in local, state and federal elections by increasing youth participation through education, facilitation, and representation.

• Increasing youth civic engagement. Elevating the voice, power, and participation of young people.
• Stimulating student participation in all voting cycles.
• Increasing understanding of Texas Voting Laws and its positive and negative impact on voter turnout.
• Connecting youth with voting and election related resources.
• Providing a platform for youth that encourages forming and expressing views on major public policy issues.
• Creating next generation of leaders. Providing opportunities to interact with elected officials.
