From the President
Madhu Sridhar
“To the wrongs that need resistance, to the right that needs assistance, to the future in the distance, give yourselves." - Carrie Chapman Catt, Founder, League of Women Voters
We are celebrating the 104th anniversary of the League of Women Voters this month. The League was founded to encourage informed participation. And we are doing just that.
The work of the San Antonio League does not stop between elections. The work continues all year long to ensure voters are equipped with the information and have access to make their voices heard. We are constantly experimenting with new and innovative ways to reach and inform voters. Our deliberate efforts target low-propensity voters, first time voters, new citizens, students, under-represented groups and the list goes on.
In the midst of unprecedented strain on our democracy, we remain proactive in our approach to counter widespread misinformation and disinformation. I want YOU to share Vote411, the nonpartisan election information resource with your family and friends and urge them to vote. My neighbors and friends thank me every election for sharing VOTE411.org with them.

Happy Voting!
